Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) are two rounds of the selection process that are commonly used by universities, business schools, and other organizations to assess the suitability of candidates for a particular program or job.

In a group discussion, a group of candidates is given a topic to discuss and are expected to express their views, opinions, and ideas on the topic. The GD round is used to assess a candidate's communication skills, leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills.

In a personal interview, a candidate is individually interviewed by one or more interviewers. The PI round is used to assess a candidate's personality, communication skills, knowledge of the field, and career goals.

Both the GD and PI rounds are usually conducted after the written examination as part of the selection process for various programs, including MBA, MCA, and other professional courses. A high performance in the GD and PI rounds can significantly increase a candidate's chances of getting selected for the program or job.

"WAT" stands for Written Ability Test. This is a test that is used to assess a candidate's writing skills, including their ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely. It may be used as part of the selection process for various programs, such as MBA, MCA, and other professional courses. In a WAT test, candidates are usually given a topic and asked to write an essay or a paragraph on it. The test is usually conducted after the written examination and is used to assess a candidate's ability to communicate effectively in writing.
