Course Description

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts the TISS National Entrance Test (NET) for admission to its Master's degree programs in various disciplines. The TISS NET exam is held annually in January and is open to candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.\n\nThe TISS NET exam tests a candidate's aptitude in verbal ability, logical reasoning, and numerical ability. It is a computer-based test that consists of multiple-choice questions.\n\nIn addition to the TISS NET exam, TISS also considers a candidate's performance in the group discussion and personal interview rounds as part of the admission process. These rounds are conducted at the TISS campus after the TISS NET exam.\n\nThe TISS Master's degree programs are offered in various disciplines, including social work, public policy, development studies, labor studies, and more. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to work in various sectors, including non-profit organizations, government organizations, and the private sector.
